Tipsy Parties provides cocktail bartender hire right across Colchester and Essex. From the Dutch Quarter to the High Street, our bartenders travel to your venue with all the equipment needed to prepare your chosen cocktails for you and your guests.

You can hire the bartender team only, add cocktail glassware, or add both the glassware and ingredients for a complete service. We will also help you plan your cocktail menu and, when you are providing the ingredients yourself, supply a detailed shopping list with everything you need. Optional extras, including portable bar hire, can also be added for an additional fee.

We have been offering our services to happy customers in and around Colchester since 2013, at private homes, rented venues, hotels and offices across Colchester, Ipswich, Witham, Maldon, Halstead, Sudbury and Clacton-on-Sea.

Yes. The Dutch Quarter has some gorgeous event spaces and Airbnbs. While some streets are narrow, we know how to navigate them and there are nearby drop-off points. Our portable equipment means a short walk is no problem at all. We may need to book additional setup time for tricky access locations, so please enquire before booking and we can advise.

We certainly can. Student halls, shared houses, rented flats and any other type of accommodation near the University of Essex all work perfectly for bartender hire. As long as there is a table or flat surface for us to set up on, we will make it work.

Absolutely. We regularly set up at venues in historic city centres and Colchester is no exception. We know how to find access points and loading bays near restricted areas. Our equipment is fully portable, so narrow streets and pedestrianised zones are not an issue. We may need to book additional setup time for tricky access locations, so please enquire about this before booking and we can advise on exactly what is needed.

No problem at all. Our bartenders are used to town centre setups across the UK. All parking costs are included in your booking and our team will find suitable parking near your venue, whether that is an NCP, pay-and-display, or a residential street. You do not need to arrange anything for us.

Yes, we cover all of Colchester and the surrounding area, including Ipswich, Witham, Maldon and Halstead. We also offer a cocktail making class in Colchester. In fact, we cover the whole of the UK!

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings and during popular periods in Colchester. That said, we are flexible and can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings.
