Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to find out about, quote for and book a Tipsy Parties cocktail class or bartender service, whatever their abilities and however they use the web. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard recognised in the UK under the Equality Act 2010 and used in the United States, including Nevada, to judge accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we have done

• Every photo has a text description for screen readers, and decorative graphics are hidden from them.
• The video at the top of the home page is silent and has a written description of what it shows.
• All moving content, including the video, the scrolling photo strip and the scrolling list of clients, can be paused with a pause button, and stays still if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, every button shows a clear outline when selected, and a “Skip to main content” link appears on the first press of Tab.
• Text and buttons meet the minimum colour contrast for easy reading.
• Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily, and every page works on a phone screen and when zoomed to 400%.
• Pages use proper headings, labelled links and labelled form fields so they can be navigated with assistive technology.

Known limitations

We test the site regularly with automated tools and by hand. These parts do not yet fully meet the standard, and we are working on them:

• Some of the decorative themed menu cards on the cocktail menu, themes and booking pages use light lettering on light backgrounds. Every theme’s name and drinks are also listed in plain text beside or below the card.
• Our instant quote and booking system and our application form are separate systems that we are reviewing against the same standard.

How we test

This statement is based on a review of the website on 8 October 2026 against WCAG 2.2 AA, using automated testing (axe-core) and manual checks with a keyboard, reduced motion, screen zoom and a 320-pixel-wide screen. We review it whenever the site changes significantly, and at least once a year.
