Holy Moly at Taste of London

guacamole and cocktails, on the roof

Holy Moly, the British avocado brand behind supermarket favourite guacamole, takes a two-storey stand at Taste of London in Regent’s Park every summer. To give festival-goers a reason to climb the stairs, they booked Tipsy Parties to run cocktail classes on the rooftop deck, and came back the next year asking for the same mixologist.

The brief

Holy Moly brought their own branded bar and wanted a Tipsy mixologist to run short, lively classes on the top deck of the stand, in a Holy Moly T-shirt, for guests visiting through the day. Festival entry meant accreditation, wristbands and strict timings, so we planned set-up around the gate queues.

What we made

Each session had its own menu of four, mixing long and short drinks: the first year a Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Elderflower Gin Cooler and Margarita, then Paloma; the second, a Margarita, Piña Colada, Moscow Mule and Espresso Martini, then a Paloma, Mojito, Margarita and Long Island Iced Tea. When more guests wanted in on the day, we scaled each class up from 13 to 20.
